Written for trombonist Yukiko Terukina of Brass Ensemble Rose in November 2018 and premiered in December 2019. There is a very cheerful piece for trombone called 'Shoutin' Liza Trombone' by Henry Fillmore, which inspired the title of this piece. Directly translated, it means "shining and ascending...", which also hints at the name of Yukiko's daughter (Asahi-chan). My wish is for Yukiko-san to always be the shining mother of Asahi. I turned this wish into a waltz.
