Composed in 2023 for Sanno Junior High School Wind Ensemble in Akita City (under the direction of Mr. Hiroki Iijima), this piece was premiered by the club's ensemble members who won a gold medal at the Ensemble Contest Tohoku Divisional Evaluation. The title concepts of "Ethereal" and "Flower" are essential aesthetic elements in traditional Japanese art. While this piece does not extensively use traditional Japanese musical sounds, it strongly reflects those aesthetic principles. "Ethereal" refers to a profound yet subtle beauty that cannot be clearly expressed, while "Flower" often relates to the concept of impermanence.
