About the Instrumentation:

The trumpet parts in parts 2 and 3 serve a supporting role, not requiring every note to be played but providing accents and breadth when included in tutti sections.
- While drums and percussion are not essential, including a drum set can tighten the ensemble's sound, making a five-part plus drum set configuration recommended.
- The arrangement supports various instrument combinations, allowing for performances by homogeneous ensembles such as clarinet quintets, saxophone quintets, or string quintets, as well as mixed ensembles like woodwind quintets.
