Poem of Wind and Snow Ballade No. 1 was composed in 2023, commissioned jointly by Midorikawa Junior High School and Shintotsukawa Junior High School. The title was chosen to convey the beauty and severity of nature's flow and its changing expressions, which the composer wanted to entrust to the music. "Poem" implies both songs and poetry.Music is an art form that unfolds over time. From the first note to the final bar, depicting the flow of time and its transformation is the essence of a composer's expression. Even without specific characters, this piece's narrative and dramatic quality were consciously developed around a central motif.
