In 2012, during my freshman year in college, I composed a piece that fully utilizes the agility of the saxophone, aiming for a skillful ensemble with the piano. The music is propelled by a motif that combines embroidered movements of seconds and leaping fifths, intertwined with semitone fluctuations.
