The title is from the "Grimm's Fairy Tales" that we all know. I intended for the piece to help people envision a story by listening to music. It consists of four themes. The first is "Old Castle" portraying a thunderstorm pouring into a castle ruin. The second is "Ball" ... Imagine the aristocrats waltzing gracefully in the once ornate dance hall of the old castle. Next, "Princess" ... A castle always has a princess. She sings while playing with flowers and birds. The final scene "Battle" ... The enemy hoard attacks and the battle begins. The battle ends with
