This was written for Makuhari Sogo High School's Ensemble Contest in 2004. Since it is a brass octet, I named it Claps (Pachi in Japanese) Gold (Kin in Japanese). In other words, I would like to call it brass octet (Kin Pachi), but I really like this stylish English version. The glittering bright feel of "Gold" and the sharp and rhythmic feel of "Claps".
