Score
Commissioned by Ensemble Libert Wind Orchestra for their 40th anniversary.
Liberte = "freedom" in French.
Borrowing from this word, we chose the Greek equivalent "Eleutheria" as title.
The work is basically introduction, first theme, second theme, middle section, first theme, second theme, and postlude.
While there is not a program basis between the title and the content of the piece, I wish to express the preciousness of the word "freedom," the severity of earning it, and the joy of living it at the same time.
