Commissioned by Nakayama Satsukidai Junior High School (Hideyuki Watanabe, Director) and premiered at its 38th Annual Concert. The title comes from the Latin gratias (appreciation) and cantare (to sing), so "song of appreciation."Those words are valued in the school's tradition, and the band aims to achieve that through performance. For me, music is about bringing people together, woven by their hearts. To appreciate meeting the director and students of Nakayama Satsukidai Junior High School, as well as others I met through my musical career, I composed the song with all of my heart. I would be most grateful if many would gain such appreciation and happiness through musical sharing.
