This work was included in the 2012 album "FIVE in COLORS" by Japanese saxophone masters "COLORS" (Koji Orita, Yasuto Tanaka, Mamoru Nakata, Ryoji Ihara, Katsuki Tochio). This is a re-creation of the test piece of the 2012 All Japan Band Competition "Sakura Song" into a saxophone quintet version. By superimposing the characteristics of the saxophone, which has both flexibility and richness, it develops a worldview that cannot be expressed by an orchestra. Therefore, rather than simple transcriptions, new figurations are emerging. Both the delicate motifs and dynamic curves decorate the melody colorfully. Pay attention to the balance between nuance and sound when drawing the background while making best use of the melody. Also, the tempo is just a guide. You may have flexible agogics with freedom unique to an ensemble.
