I. In a Vast Field II. By the Shore III. Under a Full Moon
Commissioned by St. Shindy Ensemble in Nara Prefecture. Premiered at Nara Ensemble Contest on December 4, 2011. A trio of oboe, clarinet, and alto saxophone, "In a Vast Field" features the light melody of the oboe, "By the Shore" features the gentle voice of the clarinet, and "Under a Full Moon" has the swinging feel of the alto saxophone. Each title is named after the member who premiered it.
