I. Allegro II. Andante III. Allegro
"Restless Rainbow" is the title of a song I happened to be listening to on the radio and wrote down the lyrics. The title of the song means "Nopkinirinai" (meaning "I can't help it"), but I hope you will take it as "To a Restless Rainbow" (meaning a rainbow so great that even if you look away from it, it will jump into your eyes). The piece is divided into three movements: jazz-like harmony and rhythm are used in the first to a swinging feel, the second has an impressive final phrase, and the third is with a sense of speed. The second movement should emphasize that last phrase, and the third movement should be quick and lively.
