Takanawadai High School Wind Orchestra commissioned my Capriccio for Clarinet Octet in 2002, which caused them to commission another octet."Pater Noster means "Our Father" in Latin. I did not compose from a specifically religious point of view, but rather with a feeling of awe and reverence toward the magnificent power of nature, expressed with a type of ethnical prayer."Takanawadai High School Wind Orchestra's clarinet section performed Pater Noster wonderfully at the 29th All Japan Ensemble Contest.
