This exciting, high-energy work is a revision of "Battle for Five Alto Saxophones" commissioned by Amano's favorite saxophone player Toshihisa Ogushi. It adds an alto to the typical saxophone quartet and has a greatly re-edited middle section. Instead of using classical tone and articulation, this work underscores its excitement with the opportunity to express a "jazz-pop" style saxophone character.
