Commissioned by a renowned percussionist Mariko Yamamoto.
Since the theme of the concert where this work was premiered was "Flowers Dance", I titled it "Language of Flowers". I was told about the atmosphere of music when first asked to compose. Therefore, I have picked flowers that best depicted the atmosphere of the music.
The style of the music is exactly what the flowers symbolize. The first movement is gentle and sweet. The second movement is lively and spirited. This is a good repertoire for both concerts and contests.
