Zui-Zui-Zukkorobashi, a Japanese nursery rhyme passed from old days, has been transformed into a fantasy. Prior to this arrangement, there were two versions: brass and wind ensemble, and trumpet ensemble. This revision is playable by elementary school bands for use at ensemble competition. It was premiered by Ouchi Chuo Elementary School brass band club in Moka City, Tochigi Prefecture in 2007. Following the introductory part created from the melody line, it progresses with the rhythms of two taiko drums of high and low tunings. The rhythmic interaction between the middle taiko drums and handclaps becomes more vivid if you use wooden clappers or claves. Express G.P. several times in the piece with conviction. There are some ambiguous words in the lyrics, and they can be interpreted in various ways. I hope you enjoy the expression of the mysterious atmosphere associated with the lyrics.
