Composed for Arion Saxophone Quartet (Yusuke Horie/S.Sax; Shinji Komori/A.Sax; Isao Sano/T.Sax; Hiroyuki Endo/B.Sax to commemorate the group's 10th anniversary.
The title "on air" refers to television, radio, etc., being broadcasted. I intentionally made the tune to sound like a jingle (the end of the song signals the start of the program).
The first theme in Hollywood style and the second in Bossa creates a lively atmosphere. After the part solos, the middle section takes an ennui waltz style.
After the Bari Sax solo, the tune returns to the original style and closes the curtain.
The title "ON AIR" is also an anagram of ARION.
