Time cannot be stopped, it just keeps moving forward, but the memories and proof are somewhere engraved. Music is said to be the art of time. It seems that the more we experience life, the more we change the feelings we put into sound. Although it is vague, I composed this piece based on time and memories that have passed. There are many refrains and intermittences, which evoke the passage of time and clearly show the changes and aspects of the music. The importance is the tonal system. The constant rhythms and the flitting phrases sometimes resonate with each other, forming a musical world. The unique reverberations of each instrument are also an idea for the composition. Yumi Terada asked me to compose this piece for her CD "Drive V" in 2023. As the composer, I would be grateful if I could expand the world of percussion ensemble as much as possible.
