This work is in sonata form. After a short introduction, the trombone powerfully presents the first subject, followed by a second subject sung sweetly by the horn. From Tempo Primo, various themes are developed, and the music elevates. The main feature of the structure of this song is that the two themes are reproduced at the same time in Grandioso, and the piece ends thusly. When performing, in the presentation section, please contrast the personalities of the two themes. The rhythm of the development part from Tempo Primo is complicated, so be careful not to founder. The restatement from Grandioso is the climax of this work. Please fully understand the sonata form, and play with a sense of composition so that music flow is brought toward the reproduction section. This work was composed in September 2009 by the commission of Yono-Minami Junior High School (Saitama). The brass octet premiered at the 33rd Saitama Ensemble Contest held on November 29 of the same year.
