Commissioned by Arion Saxophone Quartet. In Greek mythology, the musician Arion is said to have fascinated dolphins with his mighty harp. Since the name of the organization had such a wonderful origin, I decided to use it as the title and theme of the work. This time, I wrote an eclectic baroque and pop style that makes the best use of the charm of the saxophone, along with the impression and atmosphere of the group. I hope that it will be enjoyed along with my other saxophone quartets, including The Dance in the Heat Haze.
