This work is a short piece in ternary form.

The first movement is an atonal piece in Fugetta. Despite its atonality, it is based on classical techniques: Sujet (1st. the beginning) at the start, Reponse a la dominante (2e. beginning upbeat in meas. 3) and the accompanying Contre-sujet (1st. Motif from the upbeat in meas. 3). Therefore, the dominants in counter-sujet is "altered". Following the 3rd voice from upbeat in meas. 6 by B. Cl., the 4th voice from upbeat in meas. 9 is an inversion, presented by 1st., a retrograde chant. Up to this point is the exposition. The piece progresses relatively freely through "Divertissement" at A, and the movement concludes with Strette at D.

The second movement begins with a "song" of polytonality. B. Cl. starts with C major, 2nd. with Ab major, and 1st with E major, respectively. In Senza Tempo after B is written ala contemporary music of the 1960s. The temporal axis of each part is not so important. The speed of the Repeats and the note value of each are also free.

Refer to the works of that time and study. Play "Senza Tempo" in this movement in baroque or jazz style, rather than strictly. This work is an etude for players to express free interpretation. It also suggests a warning about current wind orchestra situations at school.

The third movement is based on another trend in French wind instrument music in the 1960s. Works by E. Bozza, J. Francaix, and P.M. Dubois will serve as references.
