Selected from a number of Mozart's works irrespective of genre and compiled into a three movement format, this ensemble work is colored with famous songs that have not been used so much in the wind band field.

At the beginning and between each movement are three chords reflecting "Freemasonry's liturgy" from the opera Magic Flute.

The first movement is the first half of "Symphony No. 40, 1st movement"; a melancholy beautiful work with a lasting impression.

The second movement is Aria of Countess sung in the second act of opera Marriage of Figaro. It is a masterpiece for sopranos, expressing the countess' sorrow as the count's heart departs her.

The third movement is "Allegro Figuration", written in medley style with fast tempo. Familiar melodies are freely collected.

The title Mozartarium is a term I came up with when the renowned Saitama Sakae High School performed at Mozarteum in Salzburg in 2012. My favorite artist Stevie Wonder's album "Original Musiquarium I" has also influenced this piece. I hope you feel and enjoy "The World of Mozart".

Strive to produce Mozart-like tone, dynamics and phrasing.
