Commissioned by the Ensemble Liberte Wind Orchestra, and premiered at "Siena de Ensemble Contest" held at Bunkyo Civic Hall (Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo) in November 2012. It consists of three parts: A-B-A' (fast-slow-fast). It depicts various expressions of urban people in each scene. The first part, A, portrays stylish urban people at a lively tempo, while the middle part B at a slow tempo is the scene of those tired taking a brief rest. In the latter part, A' depicts the hustle and bustle of city dwellers who are swept up in the crowd and chased by time amidst urban chaos, employing a rapid tempo and intricate passages. I incorporated suggestions and requests from the commission group as much as possible, including the euphonium and tuba duo in B section and the dialogue between two piccolo trumpets at the end.
