This piece was composed at the request of Mr. Toshikazu Nagase, then the concertmaster of the Osaka Municipal Symphonic Band and a saxophonist. It was premiered by Mr. Nagase on soprano saxophone and Mr. Masashi Oshiro on baritone saxophone.At the time of its debut, the piece did not have a title, and a name was solicited through a questionnaire at the concert. The title given by Mr. Kiyoyuki Tsujii, a professor at Osaka College of Music and then conductor of the Amagasaki City Wind Orchestra, was adopted.
